Evolving voices

Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is the largest healthcare provider organisation in the county of Dorset. It is a diverse and complex organisation, employing over 5,000 staff and delivering community and mental health services from over 300 sites. 

It is also an organisation that we believe is committed to the importance of hearing and learning from its people - most of all, its patients and service users. How that commitment is turned into practice in every part of the organisation is an enormous and daunting challenge. To help it meet that challenge, in 2017 the Trust commissioned us to carry out a review into the effectiveness of current Trust arrangements for systematically collecting and acting on service user feedback and insights, including participation and engagement opportunities.
